Finally pictures!!!

Okay!! I have finally got some pictures of our 1300 sq. feet basement apartment....i finally unpacked our last boxes that were lying around in our extra bedroom and found the battery charger! There were quite a few things we had to put away in storage due to the fact that we couldn't get them down the stairs. We have usually had walk-in basement apartments where as this one we have to walk down a really narrow stairway to get in. It was a PAIN to move in!!!

Anyway here they are:

This is the most ghetto room in our apartment!!! It's our laundry room. It's really big and spacious which is wonderful though! These aren't our washer and dryer. The lady upstairs had them in here already and since it was so hard getting some of our furniture down the stairs we really din't want to have to deal with ours so we just stored them.
This is our wonderful TV and our surround sound system! We love them! I love this picture because it shows our TV lying on top of our coffee table!!! We couldn't fit our entertainment center down the stairs so we had to store it and just make do with this!!! We also could only fit our love seat down and not our couch..(it's in storage as well...so many things!)...so for now we only have a love seat!

My CUTE and wonderful husband!!! He is cold....i just thought this was a cute picture! He is so awesome and studies so hard for his paramedic class!! He is top of his paramedic class right now and is going to start the pre-med program in the fall then go onto medical school. He will be a great doctor!!

This is our extra bedroom.....this is where we store our extra chairs from our table and everything else we don't use! We also have a futon in case anyone stays over.

This is our cute litle office!! It's so messy right now....i'm embarrased!

The bathroom. It's quite large...i love it!

We bought this TV like 2 months ago. It's a 32 inch LCD TV for our bedroom. It just sits on our night stand!

Another view of our bedroom....I really should have made the bed! The mirror that sits on our dressor bairly fits! It is right up against the ceiling. Our head board to the bed BARELY fit down the stairs!! So happy it did!!! We had to take off the metal top to get it down but thanks to Mike's dad and his brother they got it down!!!! THEY ROCK!

We were so sick of our coats lying around on the floor so i got this from Hobby Lobby!

The table Mike bought me for Christmas. It can go much bigger than this and it came with 8 chairs!!!! It will be perfect when our family grows! It is also counter height which i LOVE!

The Kitchen is also really big but it's awkward......lots of space but it doesn't have a lot of counter space or storage space......it's kind of annoying but we are living with it.

We bought the stand up freezor at Sams club because the fridge freezor was so small!!!!

Well here are the pictures...sorry it took so long for me to post them! I have been so busy with school and work it's just not been working out.

Some updates as of now is that I am up to working full-time at my job and i am not going to school this semester. I have really been thinking about our future and what we need to be doing and it just felt right. I am going to support Mike this semester with school so he can go down to part time to finish up. He has been working so hard that he deserves it. I then plan to go either in the summer or the fall to do two more semesters and then graduate in English. With this program I can take all of my classes at night or online so that i can continue to work full-time. I only need 32 more credits for it so that helped my decision as well. Since Mike is going to be doing Medical school I can help by working more to help him out.

This year Mike and I have also gotten our motivation up to lose weight. We both are not happy with how we have let ourselves gain so much weight so we decided to make some goals and get to it. We plan on reaching our goals before the year is up. We have been going swimming 5 times a week for an hour and I have been making dinner everynight vs. going out to eat. We both already feel so much healthier and have been doing great for 3 weeks!! I FINALLY have lost my first pound (after three weeks...) and am so excited about it!! I lost a pound that i will NEVER gain back!

One thing we are looking forward to is our trip to California in March. We bought a 8 day 7 night trip to Anehiem California with 5 day park hopper tickets to Disneyland and an all day pass to Universal Studios. We are SO excited for this wonderful week of relaxation!!!!!
