1. Where did you meet? Surf-n-Swim. It's actually a really funny story. I thought he was annoying (he was 15 at the time) and he made me swim a 1500 Fly because i said can't to the coach and she told me i had to do it but then forgot but Mike reminded her of it. Anyway so later on i started to like him and he took me out on our first date November 27, 2002.
2. How long did you date before you got married? Date??? Um lets see, it was about 3 years.
3. How long have you been married? Almost 8 months. Yeah i know, we are NEWLY weds.
4. What does he do that surprises you? Just those little things that mean so much. Yesterday i got home from work and the dishes were done. The week before he came home with flowers. He always has something clever up his sleeve to put a smile on my face.
5. What is your favorite feature of his? I love his eyes. They are beautiful. I also love his hands!
6. What is your favorite quality of his? Mike is a really REALLY hard worker. He is working right now four 12 hour shifts a week 4:30 in the morning till 4:30 in the afternoon. He is also taking 17 credit hours in school because he wants to finish up. What a sweetie pie!!! I just love him to death!
7. Does he have a nickname for you? He calls me Gracie, sweetheart, lovey, wifey...i could go on and on...but mostly Gracie.
8. What is his favorite color? Blue
9. What is his favorite food? Rice, he will eat anything but he LOVES rice. (however it has to be sticky rice)
10. What is his favorite sport? Water polo.
11. When and where was your first kiss? This too is a really cute/funny story. Our friends Lindsey and Zac were totally egging Mike on to kiss me. I didn't really like that because i wanted him to do it when he felt it was right. Anyway we all went to a movie at Kaysville theatre and after when he walked me to my car he kissed me in front of a tree back behind the Kaysville Theatre with Zac and Lindsey hiding in Mike's BIG van....
12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We did everything together. We worked together, swam together, hung out with our friends together because we had all the same friends. After our missions, we really liked to just be together. Watch movies, play games, hang out with our families, etc...
13. Do you have any children? No, but it won't be much longer till we do.
14. Does he have a hidden talent? I bet he does because he is seriously good at everything! He plays the guitar, piano, was an amazing swimmer, and water polo player. He always wins the games we play.......He is just really talented.
15. How old is he? 22
16. Who said I love you first? He did.
17. What’s his favorite type of music? I know he really likes Goo Goo Dolls, and there are many other bands so i won't name them all.
18. What do you admire most about him? The fact that he loves and cares so much for me...
