Well this last week has been kind of a challange for both me and Mike. First of all we are both going to school full time like you all know but on top of that Sunday last week our kitchen flooded from the rain right after everyone left from Mike's birthday party. So we called Erica and Travis (our Landlords) and they came down right away and dug a trench in the yard to keep the water out for now. I guess the pipes were all backed up and the water was just running straight for our house.
Then about three weeks ago our dishwasher broke, it wouldn't drain, so Travis came over to fix it the first week. He thought he took care of it but when we started it and there was no water running...So then we call them again but Travis wasn't able to come over for about 4 days because he was so busy..and when he did he told us that the part it needed wasn't a usual part and that he needed to call in for it and that it would be shipped here in a week. So i was like GREAT, i have a BOAT load of dishes in the sink that have to be washed...but whatever i washed my dishes by hand when i was in Argentina so who cares. Anyway so on Monday of this week (yesterday) it was my day off so i was going to do the dishes but when i started running the water in the facet...water started coming out of the dishwasher through a pipe..OH MY GOSH it's just one thing after another...I just really wanted to cry at this point...HOW THE HEK AM I SUPPOSED TO WASH THE DISHES?? Gee wiz....I was so mad because i don't have time to do this...i work full time and i am going to school full time. My days are very slim on time. So anyway....i ended up doing the dishes in the bath tub but it took me THREE hours to do......
After i was done i went out and bought all paper plates, cups, bowls, spoons, and forks....i wasn't about to do that again.
Also right now Mike is in his intermediate class for work and he's just up to his neck in homework. He works Monday through Saturday and has school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night...along with three online classes. He is sooooooo busy. We both can't wait till December when we can rest for a couple of weeks before we start this all over again....UGH.
